Short life span
"Purchased in Aug 2025 and it’s now May 2026; bought them in brown in a size 9. The left side of the left sandal has broken inside/under the footbed and bulges out the side when wearing/walking. The right sandal is starting to do the same thing, breaking and bulging out the side, so both sides of the sandals are bulging out . The bulging creates an uneven surface when walking & standing. These sandals originally retailed for $100. There was a 2 week break-in period before the materials softened and became more comfortable when wearing. The right side of the right sandal's footbed has started to come apart, with the material splitting apart near the heel. Because the sandals have a cup-like footbed, they create an almost callous mark around the edge/outside of the bottom of my feet. The leather straps are flaking (does genuine leather flake off?) but are adjustable with attached velcro and the soles don't slip when walking on wet, smooth surfaces and the size fit for my sized 9 feet."
