"I bought these boots last year in wide calf. The calf width was fine, however, it was the insole that was hard and lacked padding. Usually Bare Trap's shoe insoles are comfortable. The padding in these boots are non-existent."

"I absolutely love the style and look of these black boots they fit my wide flat foot perfectly but I only wish that the calf area had a bit more stretch to it as I am short in stature and have wider calfs than normal."

"These boots are terrific! They are so smooth and buttery. They can be worn with jeans or with a dressier outfit. I really love them for the fall season. The fit is true to size and they are incredibly comfortable. The only caveat is that they will not fit on wider calves. I believe they do offer a wide calf version, though."

"I ordered these online and they weren’t quite what I expected. The textured part on the back of the boots is a kind of fake snake skin texture, which isn’t my favorite but they are okay. I don’t think you can tell too much from far away. They fit true to size and I like that the calves aren’t huge. My calves are average sized and these boots fit well."

"These boots are gorgeous. They are very comfortable. I have not worn them all day so I cannot speak to it, but I did wear them for over an hour standing without even a glimpse of discomfort lurking in the unforeseeable future. They have a hint of stretch. The small heel is stylish, but offers no discomfort. These boots look great with skinny jeans and I image the same holds true for complimentary dress or skirts. They are true to size!"
Surprisingly comfortable footwear
"Baretraps - MADELYN shoes were so surprisingly comfortable to wear that I had them on all day with no foot pain or discomfort, which is rare for most shoes, especially boots; preferably I go for a flat heel boot because my back just can't ways take the height of taller heels, and these boots were the perfect flat design. I love that they have fashion details like hardware accents, mixed media materials, embossed print, but are still a classic everyday style. You can wear these with almost anything, they are very easy to style, dressed up or down they can go either way. They seem of decent quality like they would last awhile, but my favorite feature of these boots is that they are comfortable while also being versatile."
